In 2004, The City of San Antonio’s Office of Cultural Affairs conducted research which found that 74% of San Antonio households strongly believe that public schools should offer more arts education instruction than they do currently.

The San Antonio Arts Education Task Force (SAETF) is comprised of arts teachers, artists, and parents who care and value arts in education for San Antonio.  For information on the SAETF visit their web site at www.saartsed.org.
