Creative Industry

San Antonio’s creative industry is made up of advertising, marketing, architecture, design, digital medial, music and dance venues, art galleries, culinary arts, film production and post-production, live theaters, festivals, and others.

Creative nonprofits include all types of arts and cultural organizations, professional and volunteer association, arts-related departments within a college or university, and others.

In 2006, the combined economic impact of San Antonio’s creative industry was over $3.5 billion dollars.  This industry includes nearly 26,744 employees.
