Modern Dance classes for the community are taught by Amber Ortega-Perez at Our Lady of the Lake International Folk Culture Center on Wednesday evenings.
Class begins with floor work as a warm up for the spine, hips and legs. We work on developing a strong, flexible torso and a sturdy, centered pelvis. Ample floor work and partnering are also covered in class.
