After a successful sixth year, Sunday Jazz is back at the Witte Museum for its seventh season. Bring the family and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of listening to the smooth sounds of jazz. Pick out a spot in the calming courtyard and lay down your blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the outdoors.

Join us for the hip and original tunes of Johnny P and the Wiseguys! This popular San Antonio jazz band will have you swinging to the beat w...ith their diverse instrumentation. New York trumpeter, Johnny Panzarella, leads the six member band with his vocals and is accompanied by 'Jay Burrid' Mitthauer on drums, Dennis Lambert on piano, Tim Paco on bass, Robert Karns on saxophone and Dave Woodard on trombone.

Come early with the entire family, bring a blanket or lawn chair and pick a spot in the courtyard to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of jazz. Food and beverages are available for purchase, provided by Töst Bistro. No outside food or drink, please. Museum galleries close at 5 p.m.; however, the H-E-B Science Treehouse remains open until 7 p.m. Sunday Jazz is held rain or shine; in the case of rain, the Witte has great indoor facilities. Included with museum admission.
