Classical saxophonist returns home for concert

International performer and recording artist, Javier Oviedo, returns to Central Texas for a "homecoming" concert. Jean-Pierre Schmitt leads the orchestra of local musicians in an afternoon of music for saxophone and orchestra. Since leaving Texas in 2001, Mr. Oviedo has been featured as guest soloist in New York City and around the world. This concert is the first time performing in his native state since then. Program includes original music for saxophone and orchestra.
