Thundering into the halls of the Witte Museum, the legends and lore of Texas' great trail drives will live again. Listen to students selected from across Texas deliver eloquent and historical dissertations during the 87th Oratorical Contest of the Battle of Flowers Association. This year's theme, "Horns, Hides and Hooves--The Trail Drives of Texas" conjures up images of pioneering adventures and rough hands carving a trail across new lands.
