The show: The New Old San Antonio: Tales from the Little Big Town, is a show built over time; relationship by relationship. A community is something that is quite fragile and delicate, and this show creates a time and place in San Antonio's fine art community. A compilation of friends and acquaintances over a five-year period is being presented in visual format, many voices rising together with a loud, Texas sized - Yee Haw! Each work of art is selected with intention either by the artist, or found in the shows original conception in 2011. The show The New Old San Antonio: Tales from the Little Big Town was housed at The Lawrence Art Center & The Spencer Museum of Art of Lawrence, Kansas; organized by Hausmann Millworks of San Antonio, Texas & B.A.L.M. of Lawrence, Kansas. When a 59 passenger bus went to Lawrence, Kansas for a four-day extravaganza of studio visits, museum openings, lectures and performances, it is safe to say that Lawrence, Kansas will never be the same. Furthermore, in San Antonio fond conversations of the trip can still be heard! The show was given great press coverage and was aired on Kansas City's Central Standard, reviewed in ReView Magazine of Kansas City, the San Antonio Express News, the San Antonio Current blog, the Lawrence Journal World Newspaper and a number of other online publications.

Please join us for this celebration of San Antonio's unique talent and community.
