The Bright Shawl Gallery, a space featured within The Bright Shawl, the meeting space and restaurant owned by the Junior League of San Antonio, is currently featuring "Summer Small Works," from Gentileschi Aegis Gallery Association, a group of female artists directed by Sylvia Benitez. The art will be on display at The Bright Shawl through August 13.

A League fundraiser since the 1920s, The Bright Shawl Gallery regularly exhibits and sells works from local artists. There are approximately 20 different artists represented in the current showing, with all varieties of art. The art may be viewed from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Bright Shawl offers free and convenient parking, making a visit to the Gallery a breeze.

San Antonio's premier women's volunteer organization, the Junior League of San Antonio allows women to work together to build a better community through leadership and community service. Through volunteer work and grants to partner organizations, the Junior League benefits women, children and families city-wide. JLSA supports agencies and programs that work every day to build a better San Antonio.
