For more than 50 years, Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández has traveled to more than 60 countries and has been praised by the critics of five continents and audiences of millions. Its many dances offer a captivating spectacle and the history encompassed by the rituals, dramatic events and depictions from Mexico’s rich and varied past.

The musical journey includes flamenco, tango, classical ballet, polka, African rhythms and pre-Hispanic religious rites. Audiences love the intricate, vibrant costumes and larger-than-life props presented with flash and glitter to amaze and astound. From long-vanished Indian traditions to popular songs of lovers and revolutionaries, the dances are all about Mexico.
