Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center

Guadalupe) was founded in 1980 as a nonprofit, multidisciplinary organization. Located in the heart of San Antonio's west side, the Guadalupe is the largest community-based, multi-disciplinary organization in the United States.

Our mission is to preserve, promote and develop the arts and culture of the Chicano/Latino/Native American peoples for all ages and backgrounds through public and educational programming in six disciplines: Dance, Literature, Media Arts, Theater Arts, Visual Arts and Xicano Music.

    32nd Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival Guadalupe Theatre 32nd Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival Presented by Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center at Guadalupe Theatre May 15-May 19, 2013 The festival will take place May 15-16, 2013 at the historic Guadalupe Theater (1301 Guadalupe St. @ S. Brazos) and May 17-19, 2013 at the nearby Rosedale Park (303 Dartmouth). Highlights of the festival include star-studded performances by Conjunto Music Hall of Famers Mingo Saldivar, Eva Ybarra, Flaco Jimenez, and Los Dos Gilbertos, as well as a special “New Directions in Conjunto Music” concert on Thursday night.     Camp Guadalupe- Summer 2013 Guadalupe Gallery Camp Guadalupe- Summer 2013 Presented by Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center at Guadalupe Gallery June 10-July 26, 2013 Camp Guadalupe is designed for ages 8–12 and includes 6 weeks of activities Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Each week is independent from the other enabling participation for the week/s that fit each family’s schedule. Dates: June 10-28, 2013 July 8-26, 2013 Location: GCAC Art Gallery Building, 723 S. Brazos Street, 78207 Cost/Registration Fee: Current GCAC Membership & Tuition: $100 per week
