UNAM San Antonio

Since 1944, UNAM in San Antonio has symbolized a tradition of academic and cultural collaboration between Mexico and the United States. Our mission is to promote a better understanding between both countries by disseminating the culture of Mexico and the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language and English as a second language. Among our goals are: providing academic support to Mexican immigrants presenting academic and cultural activities to the general public promoting the image and endeavors of UNAM among the educational organizations in the U.S. working towards the internationalization of UNAM by implementing programs that promote faculty and student interchanges establishing relationships with enterprises and other institutions for the development of joint academic programs forming alliances with other universities to provide their students with opportunities of studying abroad at UNAM and to strengthen joint teaching programs
