    Santikos Palladium Theatre

Santikos Theaters, the pioneers of the Cinema industry in the San Antonio market, are pleased to announce the completion of a new state-of-the-art, 18 screen plus 1 IMAX, 80,000 sq. ft. entertainment complex unlike any other cinema venue in the San Antonio area. The new mega complex includes a grand lobby, first class food and beverage service, large game room and many luxurious appointments throughout the complex befitting the name Palladium. The Palladium portrays a dominant element of Greek mythology and has interior features of classical and archaic periods of Greek architecture. The plush décor in each of the twenty auditoriums is varied in theme and bestow true Greek elegance. The Santikos theater is located at the intersection of IH-10 West and La Cantera just north of Loop 1604 and is the center piece of the new 700 acre North Rim development. The site provides unequalled access from the IH -10 and Loop 1604 corridors and affords the opportunity to capture all of the growth up IH-10 west including the Boerne, Comfort, and Kerrville markets. Santikos owns a 90 acre tract of land located in the Southwest quadrant of the IH-10 / Loop 1604 corridor and considered it as a possible location for the Palladium. However, Santikos preferred to be part of the giant North Rim project being developed by Thomas Enterprises which includes Bass Pro Shop and most likely Target, JCPenney and Sears Grand. Other Santikos projects currently in design and construction include the remodeling and renaming of the Northwest Theater at Loop 410 and IH-10. In addition, Santikos will begin construction in January on the previously announced Granada Theater and shopping center at 1604 and Portranco Road. These current projects along with the much anticipated mixed-use development named Legacy at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Highway 281 North further illustrate the continued commitment to entertainment and retail development by Santikos. The excitement continues with the Silverado Station project at Loop 1604 and Bandera Road where the Silverado 16 Theater now occupies one of the leading cinema positions in the San Antonio market. Information on these development projects can be secured through Jesse Acosta of the Santikos Development Group.
